Hearing Instrument Specialist
Freda White comes to HHVA with more than seven years of experience in the industry. She is from the Culpeper area, and she looks forward to meeting and helping everyone in the area hear the best they can. She is a graduate of Mary Washington College with a BS in biology. She also taught high school biology for several years. In 2008, she made a career change and started working in the hearing industry. She found she had a passion for the job and pursued her hearing aid specialist license. While she has worked in Charlottesville and Fredericksburg, she was happy to come home to Culpeper. Freda grew up in Madison County and lives there today. She has four children and one grandchild.
Heather Short, M.S., CCC-A joined Hearing Healthcare of Virginia in October 2012 as the Audiologist for all of our six offices throughout Central Virginia. Mrs. Short joins us from Chicago, Illinois where she spent nearly a decade in private practice serving patients from around the greater Chicago-land area. Mrs. Short holds both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Clinical Audiology from Illinois State University where she graduated cum laude. Mrs. Short also holds a National Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA), which demonstrates that she has met rigorous academic and professional standards, which go beyond the minimum requirements for state licensure. She holds licensure to practice Audiology in both the State of Illinois and Commonwealth of Virginia. Moving from Chicago in 2005, she lives in Waynesboro with her husband Terry and two children Molly and Joshua. They are active members of their community and enjoy the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and all that Virginia has to offer.
Patient Care Coordinator
Mollie Alexander joined the team of Hearing Healthcare of Virginia in May 2012. She was born in Lafayette, Indiana. She lived in Culpeper since she was 5. She currently resides 10 miles north of Culpeper. She has two older siblings. She has been in the customer service field since high school. She loves working with the public and meeting new people. She is thrilled to be working with Hearing Healthcare of Virginia. She is the first smile you see when entering our Culpeper office. She strives to provide a comfortable and professional work place.
