Robert Hayward
Hearing Instrument Specialist (Covington & Lexington)

Robert “Bob” Hayward joined the team of Hearing Healthcare of Virginia in October of 2009. He is the Hearing Specialist in the Covington, Virginia office. Bob was born and raised in White Plains, New York. He has lived and worked in Covington for 24 years. Bob is married to his wife Angela for over 23 years and happily share their home with their dog Tobie and cat Sneakie. For over 20 years he has been involved in customer service and sales. Bob notes, “It is thrilling to watch the faces of my clients when they can hear things they haven’t been able to hear; sometimes for years! That in itself makes being a hearing instrument specialist a wonderful career. I enjoy not only what I can do for others, but what I can also learn from each client that comes into my office.” Bob’s sincere approach and easy disposition creates a great atmosphere for clients to work towards better hearing. April Rowland
Patient Care Coordinator (Covington & Lexington)

April Rowland joined the team of Hearing Healthcare of Virginia in March of 2010. April is a Covington native, born and raised in the area. She is a 1997 graduate of Alleghany High School. She attended Dabney S. Lancaster Community College where she graduated with a degree in Pulp and Paper technology. April was employed for several years at MeadWestVaco in the Microbiology Laboratory. In 2000, she married her high school sweetheart, Dusty. In 2008, she became the mother of a wonderful little boy, named Kai. April enjoys all kinds of shopping, especially securing the best pricing for the best quality. Her enthusiasm for this has followed her into HHVA. She coordinates the supply ordering of front desk items for all 6 locations of HHVA. She strives to create an environment where each person can feel secure in knowing they are getting the best service, product and care – all at the best value.
