Conductive Hearing Loss

When Sound Waves Don't Get Through

Conductive hearing loss refers to issues with transferring sound waves due to a blockage or other impediment located between the outer and the inner ear. It could just be earwax; in that case, Hearing Healthcare of Virginia would be happy to assist you with cleaning in a safe manner. Hearing loss can also be due to a more serious issue, such as damage to the ear, which needs a professional assessment*. Our experienced hearing care team will address any causes with you, so you can make informed decisions about treatment.
